Genspark

Genspark is an AI agent that finishes tasks rather than answering questions. Research briefs, slide decks, spreadsheets, even phone calls, executed as multi-step work instead of returned as a wall of text.

What it does well

Completion. Ask for a competitor analysis and you get a structured document with sources, not a summary you then have to turn into a document. The Super Agent chains steps sensibly and shows its work, so you can see where a conclusion came from and correct it.

Deck generation is unusually good, producing something presentable rather than something you rebuild from scratch.

What it costs

A free tier with daily credits, and paid plans in the region of $25 a month upward with higher credit allowances and access to stronger models. Credits are consumed per task rather than per message, so a long agent run costs more than a quick question.

Where it falls short

Agents fail in ways chatbots do not. A run can go six steps deep on a wrong assumption and hand you a confident, useless artefact, and you often only notice at the end. Verification is your job and it is not optional for anything that matters.

It is also slower than a chat interface by design, which feels wrong until the output justifies it.

Who it's for

Analysts, consultants, founders and anyone who bills for time spent on research and documents. If your work is answering questions, a normal assistant is cheaper. If your work is producing deliverables, this is a different category of tool.
